Seven hours recorded from the all night b2b between Christoffer aka C.K and myself. There isn't a lot of recordings from marathon sets up online, so thought this would be a nice one to share for those of you who like a long uninterrupted ride.

C.K and I are both from Denmark, and our friendship goes a long way back. We worked together on a vinyl only podcast in the late 00's on blogspot.com for those of you who remember those times digging through blogs and Myspace. Since then C.K has been producing amazing records and doing fantastic mixes on his Safe Radio series (highly recommended!) as well as help the local scene with a wonderful voluntary-run venue 'Super' in the city of Aarhus in Denmark.

It has been a long enjoyable ride to run my label Delaphine for 10 years, a ride of surprises, and this night was a such a ride as well. A fun back-to-back ping pong of followups, layups, and curve balls. We hope you enjoy the ride.

Thanks to the always amazing Aether Club team that consistently throughout the years have provided such an amazing space for electronic music in the heart of Budapest.

Of all the Berlin DJs who make a living spinning strange, I'm-not-sharing-the-tracklist kind of records, Sugar Free, originally hailing from Madrid, might be the most fun. She plays bold, colourful tracks with an air of sci-fi and sleaze, somewhere between Italo, hi-NRG, electro and house. (Her Dimensions Mix last year was one of our favourites of 2023.) She's the kind of DJ who messes with your perception of genres and tempos by how she blends tracks together, and also a DJ with a rare grasp of mixing melodies and moods—just check out the first transition of this RA Podcast for a spine-tingling example.

Sugar Free doesn't speak much publicly, and you won't find a lot about her on the internet. She prefers to let her DJing speak for itself. And her RA Podcast says a lot: proggy basslines, heart-in-mouth descents into reverb-heavy breakdowns, eerie vocals and a general feel of psychedelia and '80s decadence. It's difficult to tell what era these records are from, which is part of the charm. For a bonus point, try and pick out two just-completed Sugar Free originals, some of her first productions ever after her debut track came out on Limousine Dream in 2022.

For the next 90 minutes, @naominice takes full control on the series. A selector who lives and breathes house music—groove, energy, and soul at its core. From Robert Johnson to Panorama Bar, Heideglühen to Nation of Gondwana, she’s left her mark on dancefloors across the map.

We asked her to share some thoughts and highlight a few artists who are involved in this mix. 

"Always exciting to record a mix. I've only ever recorded 1 hour mixes. This one is a bit longer and had a bit of a club character during recording because I also started improvising at some point and grabbed my records by feel. That's actually the most fun. The result is this house mix that combines deep baselines with rhythms to create an energetic vibe. The tracks flow seamlessly into each other and swim through the different subgenres in house. Perfect for anyone who wants to lose themselves in the groove."
