DKIB-This version was home recorded during the "Arkham" days. It's simplicity is reminiscent of many other early Arkham recordings. I believe Seneca was the only guitar player on the recording, but Chad Russell may have been on this one. 
Once Pretty Home- a deeply personal song Brandon wrote back in the day. This is an outtake version that was mixed with just the original acoustic scratch guitar and Brandon's vocals. It was recorded by Kevin Shattuck (RIP).

After the departure of Chad Russell, Brandon, Tad  and Seneca reconfigured by searching for a replacement guitar player. For a few practices in the beginning, Jason Hardung (then simply known as Juice) began jamming and filled in. However, Jason was not able to stay in the band. So Brandon Tad and Seneca restructured the band as a three piece. This album was recorded during an incredibly bitter fall and winter. These songs were recorded with the engineer Trevor in mind as he was known to produce a gritty sound that the band felt needed to be captured. This album recording had to be rushed a bit. It featured passionate lyrics and aggressive playing styles by all the members. Influences from that era could include Mineral, Fugazi, Alkaline Trio and Brand New.

This is an archive collection of the Cheyenne, Wyo., punk band Napier (formally known as Arkham). In the Arkham days, the band played very simplistic, yet emotionally driven punk rock music. As line-ups altered, the band began to transcend itself into a new identity of Napier. This identity allowed for more complex rhythms and guitar compositions. The members drew on myriad influences and delved into deep introspection for lyric writing.
