We welcome our pastoral intern, Brayden Bostelman, to teach on the book of Haggai. Right away we see how God is calling out His people for losing sight of their first love, God Himself. They were so focused on building lavish lives for themselves, that they neglected to build God's temple. The Lord got their attention to draw them back to Him. We are encouraged and challenged to come back to our first love, Jesus.

The Lord is encouraging His people through Zechariah to continue on mission in building the temple. There are three themes we see in Zechariah's prophetic words of encouragement: 1) The obstacle before you is real, 2) the promise of the Spirit is greater, and 3) the completion through God is certain.
