We wrote this song in isolation about the situation a lot of people find themselves in where they feel alone and do not think they are being heard. White Lie is about the misguided feeling of not wanting to trouble people with your problems and telling everyone you're alright, whilst your brain says differently. With lyrics heavily steeped in irony and sarcasm, White Lie uses loud guitars and heavy drums to punctuate the angst that forms in our head when we're going through hard times. We recorded this track over 2 days at The Edge Recording Studios, Alderley Edge, and then produced/mixed it out of our home studio in Salford. It's quite a journey and we hope you like it, thank you for listening.

Napoleon Complex, a Manchester based Psychedelic Rock Band, are a combination of screaming guitars, powerhouse drums, thought provoking lyrical concepts and monster bass tones that’ll hit you right in the face. They are influenced by a wide range of bands such as Biffy Clyro, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Nivarna and Guns N’ Roses, all with a sprinkling of spacey effects and a “fuck it” attitude.
	With a belief that the best music comes when your ego is left at the door, and a need to experiment wherever possible, Napoleon Complex write and record songs with the mantra of “Do it yourself”, and the view that it's always better to explore a crazy idea rather than make a cookie-cutter sound.
	Expect regular releases and a bit of fun. It might get loud, it might get wavey.
