25th May sees Germanys Ante Perry team up with Belgiums Maxim Lany to deliver their debut collaboration EP, I Have Been A Shit, for Tube & Berger / Juliet Sikoras illustrious Kittball Records. The excellent 3-track release follows on from previous outings by the duo on labels such as House Grand Cru, Nite Grooves and Maxims very own Lany Recordings and sees them deliver one of their best collaborative releases to date. The EPs title-track, I Have Been A Shit, kicks things off serving up a trippy after-hours house groove encompassing minimal-esque drum programming, off-kilter sound effects, twisted TB-303-esque synth patterns and an alluring explicit looped-up vocal sample. Next, Kittballs co-owners Tube & Berger step up to deliver an superb re-rub of the title-track, utilising most of the originals key elements but adding their own stamp on the record by delivering a more driving tech house workout thats ideal for peak time sets. Groove With It follows on and sees Lany and Perry deliver another fine intricate house cut, featuring a twisted percussive melody, a solid one-note bassline, atmospheric textures, techy chord stabs and a looped-up heavily effected vocal sample to conclude the release. I Have Been A Shit EP is available exclusively via Beatport on 25th May and everywhere else two weeks later.

Having cut his cloth in the London underground party scene, Maxx quickly cemented his reputation as a technically accomplished DJ with an ear for quality, genre-transcending techno. He then went on to headline and play parties in most of the major cities around Europe and beyond, with gigs booked as far as the USA and Thailand in 2019.

A formally trained piano player, and with a diploma in Music Technology and Sound Engineering, Maxx runs his own label Polymeric Records, works as Label Manager for Molecular Recordings, owned by Marco Lenzi, and he worked for 6 years as Label Manager for Austrian label Carbon Audio. He recently quit this position to concentrate on the work for Molecular Recordings. All of these labels are available on vinyl, as MAXX is still making a point of supporting the media. As a matter of facts, he still plays vinyl at his gigs.

Dj, Producer, Sound Engineer - as long as there's sound involved Aaron is in his natural element. A very passionate artist who has dedicated his life to sound design and techno.

Aaron started listening to electronic music around 1994, clubbing around Italy listening to deep electronic music. Coming from a family of classical musicians and having always played instruments the step into making electronic music was only natural for him. In the year 2000 he bought his first pair of SL1200 and hasn't stopped spinning vinyl since. In 2003 he moved to London with his partner Electric Delight to pursue a career in sound engineering. Graduated at SAE college in 2004 he now works for the BBC as sound designer.

Wild Cards makes its triumphant return with again a slew of stompers that every DJ should have up its sleeve.

Kicking things of is Heerhorst with Outer Rim. This Hamburg representative is giving us a galloping tom groove combined with a melodic affair like no other. Turning eventually in a detuned frenzy, this A1 is sure to deliver the goods.

Elusive Minds is the secretive moniker of one off Holland’s biggest talents. Lost Souls delivers a melancholic opera like no other. Surely one for the dark, brooding club nights this winter.

Duss returns once again with Fifth. The Polish duo again showcase their mastery of the studio with a deep melodic stronghold with a pushing low end. As always peak time material.

Steve Slight and label head honcho Rob Hes, go way back, making this return of a familiar face all the better. Spiral Galaxy transfers us straight to late night outdoor rooftop sessions. A stomping groover, just how we like it.

AudioVirus is back with his track Slow Climax. One for the books!

On closing duties is Gero Jansen with Out of Space, a hidden gem drenched in analog flavor. All tracks are tried and tested and surely are firing on all cylinders. Enjoy!
