Here is my take on Jimmy Buffet's classic A Pirate Looks at 40 done solo on a gypsy jazz guitar. I picked up my guitar with an idea of the song in my head and hit record on a digital recorder and started playing. This is the result.

I am happy to have my Derecho back. Craig put pins in it so that I could use a guitar strap with it. I thought this song needed to be done. It is me playing with a G harmonica in a new harmonica holder around my neck and singing. I love Zep. I love the summer. I love ice cream with Guinness! Cheers!

I always loved this tune by JJ Cale. He was one of the best song writers of our time. Here is my rendition of Cajun Moon that I put together this weekend after finding this rhythm track on an old Casio  keyboard "Slow Rock 2" that just seemed to work.

Hey Laura

While it was rainy and I was holed up inside I worked on some ideas. Here is my latest effort. This is an alternative rock song by Iona Sky. It was written by my friend Larry Ashley and sung by Olivia Meadows on their album Letterbox. Calvert Street also happens to be a very prominent street in Annapolis. For years this thing has morphed into a jazz rendition in my brain. I tried to capture it. Electric guitar, fretless bass and harmonica. Let me know what you think :)

I have played guitar and bass for many years. I played bass for the Maryland party cover band - Full Steam. I also played bass in and around Naptown for the - Kings of Crownsville. Recently, I dusted off my acoustic guitar and returned to writing my own arrangements and performing solo acoustic. Here you will find  things I felt like recording with my digital recorder. Some are original some are just my versions of songs stuck in my head that I felt needed to be captured . Let me know what you like or dislike. Rock On!
