"Named after his late grandfather Birendra Nath Bose, 'Biren' is Kami-O's first full length project and 2nd self release, after 2020s 'Hara' EP.

"Musically, the album is an exploration of his Indian heritage, taking inspiration from various forms of traditional Indian music and combining them with his usual 140bpm style.

"Starting out as an EP, the project quickly developed into a longer form concept as more ideas came to mind. To complete the project, an artwork was made by his mother and Anglo-Indian artist Helen Bose as a visual compliment to the music."
