Happy new year folks! Welcome to the first Loafy Tunes of the year as we kick things off with a cover episode from Alejandro Naranjo. It's Alejandro's second time on the show but you will also know him from his work as a producer and the co-founder of Noisy Neighbours record label. He, in his own words, is a dedicated house head with a soft spot for bouncy basslines and playful chord progressions. Alongside him, he is bringing luke.j.m, a vinyl DJ from New Zealand, now based in London. Collecting records since 2008, he spins deep house, techno, electro, dub, and ambient. 
We are buzzed to have these two taking the reins of the first show of the year and can't wait to hear what they have in their bags for us. Enjoy!

Laib Und Seele returns with the second instalment of its compilation series, offering a snapshot of the sonic territory we’re currently navigating. From atmospheric openers to club-focused cuts, this collection brings together a range of voices across different styles — all united by a shared sense of rhythm, texture, and forward movement.
The release opens with Yoshida – Debno, a slow-burning track built on beautiful pads and evolving rhythmic patterns. Sitting somewhere between breaks and UK bass, it grows steadily into a tightly layered piece full of intricate drums and sweeping synths. Yesjar – Abwartz follows with a signature slice of trippy, groove-led techno. Hypnotic yet playful, it moves through unexpected rhythms and shifting textures, keeping things immersive without losing its drive. Gymnasty – Electro Boogie switches gears into high-tempo electro territory — robotic vocals, acidic basslines, and sharp 808s power a no-nonsense workout that doesn’t let up.
On the flip side, Hindwood – You Are Not Your Mind delivers a proggy, trance-tinged house trip. Packed with bleepy detail and layered pads, it builds with purpose, balancing introspection with body-shaking energy. Cassine – Everybody Glitch brings the intensity up a notch with raw synths, industrial-influenced textures, and chopped vocal samples that push the track into peak-time terrain. Rounding off the release is Alejandro Naranjo – Anna’s Guy, a UKG-flavoured roller that blends garage swing, deep basslines, and hints of tech house and prog to close the compilation on a playful yet weighty note.

Laib und Seele Records is back from a long hiatus on the label side and gears up for their upcoming compilation release. Building up this excitement towards the release date of May 30th, we are doing a LUS records special with Alejandro Naranjo and Cassine who have contributed to the compilation with two peak time bangers. With Everybody Glitch, Cassine brings the intensity of the compilation up a notch with raw synths, industrial-influenced textures, and chopped vocal samples that push the track into peak-time terrain. And Alejandro with Anna's Guy rounds off the release in his UKG-flavoured style that blends garage swing, deep basslines, and hints of tech house and prog to close the compilation on a playful yet weighty note. 
We will be having short interviews with our talented producers and then they will grace the decks with two mixes as well.
