Seit Gründung unseres Musik Blogs 2012 setzen wir den musikalischen Schwerpunkt auf Diversität. Das bedeutet, dass unser Programm, egal ob Premieren, Live-Sets oder Podcasts eine große, breite Mischung aus verschiedenen Subtypen der elektronischen Musik abdeckt. Sei es Downtempo, Midtempo, melancholisch, verträumt, melodisch und/oder tanzbar - alles ist im Grunde erlaubt.

Ziel jeder unserer Compilations ist es, dass jede*r Künstle*r einen Track gestaltet, den er/sie selber auf seiner/ihrer “Afterhour” spielen würde/n. Manche steuerten in der Vergangenheit eher langsamere, manche schnellere Tracks bei. Manche verträumte, manche druckvollere. Im Grunde ist jede Stimmung möglich, insofern dieser zu Afterhour Sounds passt. So auch dieses Mal...

Da die Compilation “for free” ist, können wir keinen Künstler monetär entlohnen. Wir verstehen uns von Anfang an (seit 2012) als Supporter der Szene und haben seit jeher verschiedene aufstrebende Künstler unterstützt und auch einen Teil zu ihrem Erfolg beigetragen. Dies bedeutet, wir haben und werden nie Geld für beispielsweise Premieren, Reposts etc. nehmen. Selbst auf eigene Spendenaufrufe während der Covid-Pandemie verzichten wir im ersten Jahr vollkommen. Ganz im Gegenteil. Wir selber unterstützen immer wieder angeschlagene Club- und Festivalbetreiber, sowie andere ehrenamtliche, sozial ausgerichtete NGO’s. 

Daher ist unsere neuste Compilation als “Free Download” mit freiwilliger Spende gedacht. Hierzu könnt ihr den unten aufgeführten PayPal Link benutzen. Das Geld soll zum einen für die Deckung der entstandenen Kosten (Betrieb und Mastering) eingesetzt werden, als auch zur Spende für das Projekt “Blind-Spots”, welches wir unter vielen aktuell als sehr unterstützungswürdig halten und während der Corona Pandemie vollkommen aus dem gesellschaftlichen Bewusstsein verschwunden ist.

Es freut uns wirklich sehr, dass wir auch dieses Mal eine Menge an tollen Künstlern für unser Projekt gewinnen konnten, die uns nicht nur mit ihrer Musik, sondern vor allem menschlich beeindrucken.

Once upon a time, deep in the swamps, there lived some giants and dragons. We almost forgot that these huge creatures were not only known for their size, but also for their enormous noises that could be heard almost every night - if you were close enough to the swamps...
A brave slothcat mixed creature called CaterKarlos, was diving into the depths of the swamps in search for the last of their kind to listen to these creatures impressive loud and beautiful sounds. In the midst of a slowtec thunderstorm, he caught some and restored them in his research releases for enormous noises as bangers.
Sure he wasn ́t down there alone, he got supported by the super talented and always curious ANGST vor GRETA. Her wonderful voice shows you light in the darkest corner of the darkgreen mud. The Giants should beware!

Dare (Ignat Baranov / Moscow, Russia) DJ and producer. Has been writing music for over 8 years. During this time, more than 25 releases have been released in the genres: Organic House, Downtempo, Ethno electronic and Experimental Electronic. Now he wants to try combine organic vibes inprogressive genre and make live performance with live instruments. The main idea in music is a combination of electronic music with ethnic instruments, as well as guitars, vocals and many background sounds that allow you to compose an overall picture of what is happening and set the mood. His works can be heard on any streaming services around the world, and they also have the support of recognized professionals of the DJ scene and radio stations of the Russian Federation. Also, releases and mixes usually ranked by
Beatport, Spotify and other platforms charts. Dare wants to leave a mark on the history of music and also wants his family
