RC110 marks the return and collaboration of two label favourites, close friends and local legends – Tom Baker and Unknown Concept. A year in the making, we are proud to present you with the 2 track Ambidextrous EP, featuring the title record and the secondary, Nocturne.

When you look at the make up of any musical composition there are so many elements to consider. The instrumentation and space of your record, what specific pieces you decide to blend together, at what point they develop over the course of your arrangement and in what place across this spectrum do your elements either thrive on their own or shine all together.

Two artists being 'Ambidextrous' can be loosely translated to the concept of balance. The ability to be able to rely upon each element you piece together to speak to, relate and ultimately balance out your entire composition.

Tom Baker and Unknown Concept have drawn from their own unique styles and characteristics within their music to build a dark and ominous EP which will no doubt take you late in the night.

Nocturne is a low-slung progressive number, where you can feel the low end move you throughout the arrangement. A testament to both artists design and element selection.

So this Friday from 13:00 CET join us on air for a celebratory and wide-range musical journey featuring resident radiOzora DJs, longtime returning friends and special debuting guests.
While in the first half of the show you can enjoy mostly low and mid tempo sets, starting from organic house, through psychedelic indie dance and retro-feel trancey techno, the 2nd half offers different styles of psychedelic music, such as psy-techno, zenonesque, groovy night psy and full on.

Conceived by our dearest friend, Toufie, the project delves into the human psyche and emotions alike. He blends his love for music and his outlook on human nature to present us with a euphoric take on sounds, as carefully selected as they were created by the artists themselves. We hope you enjoy this ‘delicacy’.

Bio:
Tadik is a Persian delicacy. Its something the family will fight over at the dinner table as there's never enough to go around. It's the most irresistible part of a daily ritual such as family dinner and in this, the most simple reminder of what makes us human. Aggression is also kindness. Darkness is also warm. Loss often means the absence of something you desire right through to your heritage. As crusty rice will tell you, beauty is not always so apparent at first sight, sometimes you have to experience it to realise why it belongs in your life forever.

Basilisk returns with TRANSMISSIONS FROM ARCADIA, a 4-hour odyssey into deep and progressive forms of house, techno, and trance embedded within a hazy cocoon of broken beats, IDM, downtempo, and ambient, all from around the turn of the millennium. This exercise in genre-fluid nostalgia emphasizes rhythm over melody, avoiding monotony by rotating between diverse yet complimentary sounds intended for the dirty warehouse, summer festival, upscale club, or smoke-filled lounge.

Rave nostalgia is alive and well these days, but most people lavish their attention on the primordial aesthetics and waveforms of the early 1990s. Far less critical attention has been directed on the diversifying sounds of the early 2000s, when digital workstations transformed electronic music production and new movements proliferated throughout global dance culture. This mix aims to connect some of the dots, bridging gaps between contemporaneous scenes that might not have seen much crossover when this music was gleaming and new.

This Atmospherica Exotica episode features a mix by ROLAND HANDRICK, including tracks from Claudio Prc, Sebastian Muallert, Rambadu, Luigi PozziI. Roland Handrick heard techno music for the first time at the age of 9-10 in Germany.  Listening to Chris Liebing's and Anja Schneider's radio shows was a good starting point to his musical journey, hearing all kinds of electronic music from techno to d’n’b, breakbeat and all kind of genres, developing his musical self very soon. In 2000 he started to collect vinyls, buy turntables and a mixer and learn mixing. After playing at small clubs and pubs around his hometown, they started to organize their own parties with a friend, so we were able to book some of the top techno and house DJs and he was able to warm up for these artists. In 2004 Zvezda Beta invited him to play at an Ablak a Dubra party in Budapest and one year later he joined the Hairy crew. He also has residency in Budapest at Aether club with his old friend and colleague Roocha. He has been joining Ozora festival since 2014. Based on these influences, he made a radioshow on Radiozora.
