I arranged this in late 2003 after hearing Guy Sebastian perform the cover for his Australian Idol audition. Recorded in 2007 by Carlo Santos. The bass track was added later on by RJ Woessner at the request of my portfolio advisor at Berklee.

Another honor to be invited by the THE Pauline Cauton - one of my favorite vocalists :)

I've always wanted to invite her to one of my covers, but she wasn't affiliated with JMM as far as I knew then. So imagine my surprise and glee to find out that she actually had a connection to JMM through Sr. Bubbles Bandojo.

A Minus-one was used for the music track. Nothing much to say about this. Just one of those nights where I couldn't sleep and didn't have anything better to do.

I remembered a conversation with my friend Gino that afternoon; he mentioned recording Pilgrim's Theme and I thought to myself "Hey, why didn't i think of recording that?"

So now, its recorded :)

I just added basic vocals/harmonies at the last chorus since it was sounded weird when was just the solo without some semblance of a choir at the background.

I'll be honest, I was terrified when Pauline invited me to sing this song with her - as this particular song seems to be very sacred to a lot of followers (not even the aweasome Aegis version escaped such criticism). So quite frankly, I never was (or am) expecting a positive reception of this cover. 

But all the same, I utterly enjoyed "jamming" with Pauline. There were really just two parts that we made sure that we did as planned (you probably can figure that out just by listening). Apart from that, we were making things up every take.

Much respect goes out to the camera men and their patience. They must've been thinking "why the hell didn't these people prepare beforehand!?"
