Leuven, Belgium, based producer FRIS, makes synthy, low-slung beats that sit somewhere between hip hop and funky up-tempo music. He gathered big influences from the LA beat scene that let him play around with the SP404 in order to come up with his own unique style. His first cassette-project FRISSEN EP came out in 2013, a cracky, lo-fi sample-based beat sound that found the likes of no less a figure than the great LeFtO.
