Tiësto, recently named "Greatest DJ of All-Time" by Mixmag, combines forces with fellow Dutchman and fast rising star, Hardwell.  Their collaboration here on "Zero 76" is a monumental production, fusing each artists' style to create an early contender for tune of 2011.

Tiësto and Hardwell both hail from Breda, Netherlands and the title Zero 76 is a nod to their home town's area code.  Hardwell explains, "Being born and raised in Breda, Tiësto's hometown, I always felt a certain pride when others mentioned his name.  When meeting him for the first time, last year in Ibiza, we had an instant click that lead to this cooperation."

 

As if their country couldn't be any more proud of them, this co-production is as big as it gets. Played in every major live circuit set by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike this year, this huge offering from Smash the House regulars Wolfpack and German duo Warp Brothers finally gets an official release. This collaboration sees the Warp Brothers revisit their turn of the millennium classic, with help from the inimitable Belgian duo Wolfpack. With early support from the likes of Tiësto, David Guetta, Nicky Romero and Yves V, ‘Phatt Bass’ out February 15th, is sure to be one of the biggest tracks of the year.

Retaining the huge, anthemic sound of the original, but retuning and reinterpreting the track to suit the current dance music climate, Wolfpack & Warp Brother’s ‘Phat Bass’ synergises fist pumping energy with stadium sized electro house beats, culminating in undoubtedly the biggest track of the year so far.

This successful reworking of ‘Phatt Bass’ into more progressive territory, demonstrates both the enormous talents of all the artists involved, and their keen ears for current sounds and ideas. Following the success of his huge collaboration on ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’ with young protégé Alesso, Refune founder and label boss Sebastian Ingrosso has teamed up with one of Australia's favourite sons, Tommy Trash, for new track ‘Reload’. Such a pairing between two of dance music’s biggest characters was never going to produce anything other than a future anthem, and the track is already smashing floors all over the world.

On ‘Reload’ these two titans join forces to showcase a dynamic blend of styles, utilizing their ample studio experience to its fullest as they break new ground. At once muscular and melodic, the fusion of these two producers‘ talents is fresh, exciting and nothing short of exceptional. While the galloping drums and pulsing, distorted bassline ensure that energy is kept at fever pitch throughout, the emotive melody is able to build to its climax in a wave of soaring synths.

‘Reload’ is the latest installment in what has been a stellar year for Sebastian Ingrosso’s Refune label.
