On New Year’s Eve 2024, I had the honor of playing a DJ set at Réveillon Duna – an extraordinary and exclusive celebration held in the stunning Lençóis Maranhenses, Brazil. The festival took place in a protected reservoir hidden within the dunes of this surreal desert landscape, making it one of the most unique and unforgettable locations I’ve ever played at.

The production was absolutely world-class: intimate, thoughtfully designed, and carried out with so much love and attention to detail. The crowd was incredible – kind-hearted, open-minded, and extremely welcoming. It was an absolute joy to be part of this experience.

I had so much fun playing my set and I’m truly happy to finally share it with you.

Greetings to everyone. 

I'm humbled to share with you a recording of one of my most recent public appearances - it's the opening set I played at “Meet Me At The Other Side for Progressive Picnic” - official pre-party gathering for “Once Upon A Beat 02” with special headliners Makebo (Rubicunda, All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep) and Kasper Koman (Lost Miracle, Lost & Found, Mango Alley). Both events took place on  May 17, 2025 consecutively at one of the best places in town - The Other Side, Amsterdam, NL. 

Tempo: 114 -> 120 bpm!

The tracks were conceived and recorded in his Berlin, Kreuzberg studio, where he works with a mix of analog gear, and softsynths. His approach is deeply tactile—more performance than programming. The result is music that feels alive: pulsing, breathing, and constantly shifting. In short, this is art in its purest form. The release opens with ""Drøms"", a warm, rolling track with sharp detail and a melodic undercurrent that draws you in without overreaching. The title track, “Edelstein”—the German word for gem—is exactly that: a tightly crafted dancefloor mover with a perfect blend of drive and bounce, controlled yet energetic. Wrapping things up, ""Lost"" couldn’t be more aptly named. It drifts into a more introspective space—melancholic, but grounded by a beautifully locked-in groove."

Venturing into the heart of the electronic music scene in his early twenties, Olendo found his calling amidst the hypnotic allure of Minimal Deep Tech Music, under the artistic venture of Nuendo. His prowess behind the decks carried him to venues across the eastern expanse of Australia and beyond, gracing international stages with his mesmerizing performances.

In 2022, a transformative residency at a Tulum-inspired enclave in Sydney rekindled Olendo's creative flame, steering him toward the enchanting realm of downtempo house music. Thus, the Olendo project was born, woven from the threads of his diverse musical heritage and boundless passion for genre fusion.

Having lived in Saudi Arabia, where parties are frowned upon, he broke the taboo by promoting underground electronic music with like-minded people through intimate private house parties.
