Without Letters debut album “Abundance Supreme” comes from Lithuanian club culture, its changes, desired or actually happening and from the parties the band been to in the past couple of years. Trance inducing rhythmical structures and the sharp guitar outbursts invoke krautrock inspired blissful harmonies without offering an escape. Dark, frantic pace underlies Without Letters set, with clear intent to cut through the hierarchy of performer and the listener, to melt all that into a playful, potentially ecstatic co-participation. Swiss duo Psycho Weazel drop two eccentric cuts on the Argent Sale imprint entitled ‘Race/Stracciatella’. The story of Psycho Weazel is that of a musical thunderbolt between two sensitive guys who radiate captivating productions from their studio nestled on the shore of Lake Neuchâtel that can be found on labels such as À Table, Paradise Chilren and Le Jour Me Nuit. Psycho Weazel are an upcoming Swiss duo who grew up at the foot of a mountain and produce radically universal music that’s been supported by the likes of Curses, Red Axes, Who Made Who, Tushen Raï & Cornelius Doctor, Simple Symmetry earning then gigs at venues around the Swiss region. Heavy but delicate, powerful and light, rigid and groovy, these two tracks are the story of a paradox. The story of an absolutely insane rave, where the slow pace of the music is inversely proportional to the energy it releases. ‘Race’ kicks things off with emphatic leads that sweep underneath the chugging rhythms and modulated melodies that are filled with eccentricity while Stracciatella features uplifting, cosmic synths that progress throughout fused with acid stabs and revolving percussion.

The mid-thirtysomethings Diego Cortez Salas, short DC Salas, and Biologic co-label head makes his debut on Live At Robert Johnson with his The Complicared Art of Dreaming EP, a fiver tracker that is as artful as the title suggests and the label assumes. Delivering and covering a wide spectrum of sounds ready to be played out on the wooden dance floor of the respected Robert Johnson venue and anywhere else, The Complicated Art of Dreaming not only impresses due to its musical diversity but with its artful dealing with meticulous sounds and arrangements in various contexts. The EP's opener, Keep Them Closer, is an impetuous dance floor tying piece with yet the right amount of artfulness to make the audience move driven by intrinsic motivation caused by extrinsic events.
