Essence

Backbone started with a catchy piano melody I found when jamming on the piano some time ago. I just couldn't get it out of my mind. The melody was refined over several months and resulted in a couple of different productions until I finally found the perfect mix of oriental flavors, saxophone tunes, and percussion, blended in a summery house beat.

The radio started playing remixes of the theme from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. Friends of mine said that I should also do a remix . I became eager to test myself and make my own interpretation.
