Anna Haleta  

Born in Ukraine, she moved to Israel in 1995. In the early 2000s, she started to organise raves in Jerusalem where she was studying art. Standard is not what defines Anna Haleta's sound and technique behind the decks. This is exactly why you will continue to find her across the globe in clubs like Tresor, Closer, Berghain, Alphabet and on parties like DGTL, forming eclectic blends from house to breakbeat while always containing a high energy club attitude along the way.  

From 2003 together with Tsaji Soussana she started running Pacotek. This project literally shaped the underground scene of Israel. So definitely be sure to check that out right after DUSK131.

It happened to be in some underground 90s strip club in Kaunas, full of latex, tears, and sweat. Party was mad, preparty - even more. But let's not dig into the details. Krakow based party series we are radar and szum team up for a night in the one and only Sameheads.

This special night includes a dj set of Unsound’s resident Olivia - known for her unique and deep digged vinyl sets and numerous releases on labels such as Pinkman. Music producer and live performer Chino who has released on labels as Uncanny Valley, Syntetyk… In addition he contributes visually to the scene as a graphic designer and is the author of the poster of this night’s event.

Third Radar’s member Kinzo Chrome will come back to Sameheads to perform his debut LIVE set on an analogue hard ware set up inspired by some Acid and EBM.

And last but not least Szum’s organizer and music producer Charlie playing a Dj set. Come out for some Krakow dungeon vibes and get a taste of the polish dance.

Privacy debuted his music on Void Limited in 2013, with an acclaimed release on Lobster Theremin following soon after . 2015 finds him on Klasse Wrecks (with a remix by Helena Hauff) and again on Lobster Theremin, causing a stir with his exceptional productions. His future looks very promising, so keep an eye on him!

Mechatronicast #11: Alienata

New mixes comes courtesy of Fotini Kappa aka Pasiphae. Those in love with Greek mythology would probably know Pasiphae is the daughter of Hélios and Persé, sister of Éétès and Circé, bride of Minos (king of Crete), and notoriously the mother of the Minotaur ! Also, in old greek, the name Πασιφάη means roughly "the one who shines for everybody".
Born greek but now living in The Hague, a city that clearly inspired her sound. Murder Capital-like but contemporary sounds, mutant alien funk, horror-fired dancefloor dystopia and skewed electronic soundscapes is what she does best. Together with legendary The Hague DJ Intergalactic Gary she produced "Made Of Glass" EP on Paul du Lac’s "Bio Rhythm" label before flying solo with "Siphax" on Interstellar Funk’s "Artificial Dance". Recently you could also discover her on remix duties for cult greek artist Lena Platonos on Dark Entries imprint. More to come for this rising talent and we're glad to have her on board !
