Autumn wind carried berlin-based selector and Soundartist Lucy Park (Mutantradio) to Hamburg.

After spending a Wednesday evening at the Golden Pudel Club for another edition of 'Aged Pace', time was stretched further within a joint listening in the studios of Hallo:Radio. Lucy's set opens up a sonicsphere where rattles define, horse hair speaks and fingertips whisper.

I had fun with my little "Dj Kicks"des familles, a non-exhaustive 60 minutes, under dub-downtempo-ambient & trip-Hop influences, with timeless and crazy favorites produced between 1994 and 1999.
Apart from a few exceptions, this is definitely not about nostalgia, having discovered most of these tracks yesterday, haha!! I'm joking but only barely.
It is also and above all an opportunity to remind, if necessary, that many productions from this fertile and unapologetic decade still have their place and legitimacy for listening today more than ever.

Originally from Paju South Korea, bela (they/them) is a musician
and a performance artist based in Berlin. They are known for
electronic music performance merging pungmul - a Korean folk act
rooted in agricultural traditions and linked to past social
movements - and vocals inspired by extreme metal. bela shapes
pungmul into the ritual for queer rage and grief with sub-heavy
distortions and cries.

Since moving to Berlin in the autumn of 2022, bela has been
announced as a participant of SHAPE+ Platform 23'-24'. They have
presented their work across different stages in Europe including
Berghain, Trauma Bar und Kino, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Cafe OTO,
A4 Bratislava among many others. They have performed in
experimental music festivals CTM Festival(DE), Ephemera(PL),
Unsound Kraków(PL), and Rewire Festival(NL). They also
participated in European art festivals transmediale(DE) and EVA
International(IE). bela is a co-runner of Sorrow Club: a mixed event
series spanning from music to non-music.

This is a collaboration of the SHAPE+ platform for innovative music and interdisciplinary art, co-funded by the European Union.

For those of you who do not know Don Kashew, he is an artist whose music we released in November 2022. A supplier of your favourite natural antidepressant, eternal fanboy and wannabe troubadour. He’s part of the Zurich driving local vinyl community and regularly plays records somewhere in Switzerland, mostly as a resident at der Kern Bar. As a DJ and producer, Don Kashew delivers a dark dystopian journey that begins with the search for his sound ongoing from the past several years. Don Kashew’s music has been described as reflective and danceable, dark and united with melancholy underlined with wit and humour. Listening chronologically to his releases showcases the variety of hypnotic material that reflects Don’s search of new sound development, affected through time and change, environment and empathy, diligence and insouciance, carefully packaged and influenced by his creative procedure.

A. Certo is an alias of Artūras Čertovas, a sonic storyteller and artist working with space. His sets are soulful and psychedelic, balancing between light and dark, naked and driven by constant change. His oeuvre as a DJ is playing an important part in his spiritual journey.

Originally coming from Vilnius and currently based in Brussels. He played in places like Camping 58 (Brussels), Arkaoda (Berlin), Gifgrond (Tilburg), Draugu Vardai (Vilnius), Les Ateliers Claus (Brussels), Sodas2123 (Vilnius), Casino (Luxembourg), Akee (Aleknaičiai village). His Radio appearences includes independed stations like Kiosk Radio, Lyl Radio, Radio Vilnius and Mutant Radio.
