New episode of @scenecityeu residency with Marija Šević who performs as a DJ under her alias @stellarcompanion, with a focus on the Belgrade music scene. Since October 2022, she has been a resident at @radiod59b, where she presents her selections once a month as a part of the show “To the Stars’’. She is a member of  @beyond-house, a music collective that specialised in eclectic electronic music for clubs and organises party around Belgrade. She is also a resident DJ at the club Karma Koma in Belgrade. As a well-connected member of the Belgrade music scene, Stellarcompanion curates for Scene city a mix exclusively featuring tracks from producers based in the Serbian capital, including @k6r, @matejrusmir, @praktikaltingz, @zhe-pechorin or @androan97.

Ahead of his new Bright Bars From The Stars album, out on Meakusma at the end of May, DJ Peacock, aka Pieter Kock, presents a one-hour mix for the Meakusma Show on LYL Radio. Pieter is one of the founding and guiding souls behind the Berlin-based bar and micro club O Tannenbaum. Musically active since 1986 as a singer, guitarist, drummer, and noise musician, he has released music under his own name and a variety of different aliases and different shapes.

This one-hour mix lifts the veil a bit on the vast amount of influences Pieter has as a DJ and musician. He is a versatile chronicler of the night, with different moods and modes referencing the past and the future alike. Cosmic, sentimental, pop, avant-garde, and industrial, cocktail bars of a dystopian future, beware!

Meakusma w / DJ Peacock LYL Radio

𝓛'𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓾𝓻 𝓼𝓪𝓾𝓿𝓪𝓰𝓮 in April is about being alone, "mutterseelenallein", about loneliness and empty places, about drifting around in the wild and shimmering realms of solitude. Words and poems of this episode are by Paul Celan, Maggie Nelson, The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, Denys Renaudin's Investigation of a Haunting case in Paris in 1979, my friend's friend Jess and by myself. 

The Artwork is part of Goya's Los Caprichos. Los Caprichos is a set of 80 prints in aquatint and etching created by the Spanish artist in 1797–1798, and published as an album in 1799. The prints were an artistic experiment: a medium for Goya's condemnation of the universal follies and foolishness in the  society in which he lived.
