Hailing from the wastes of Chicago by way of Boston, Conflict Bureau leads a life consumed by the derelict sounds of outsider machine music. Beginning their journey in the mid 2010s with a relocation to the midwestern region of the US, fully absorbing the mutated sounds of house music’s homeland via a handful of small clubs whos legacies Conflict Bureau refuses to let go of. Building upon the lack of time constraints put forth by covid, in 2022 Conflict Bureau began a slow and steady travel trudge, playing in new york, detroit, boston, chicago, new orleans, philidelphia, DC and all abouts the united states before settling back into a quieter life in Chicago once more....

For this transmission Conflict Bureau brings the meshing of early house simplistic electronics, industrial flavors through the sounds of MEDUSAS, a worship for the output of the hauge, goop, grit and grime all combine into a sound blast of relentless thudding bass hits, blown 303 lines, distorted hats and claps and more dirt then is possibly ever neccesary. 1 hour and minutes of vinyl and digital churning await you.....

In the sometimes insipid, fickle and murky waters of the dance world not many have navigated its depths with the wisdom, style and sophistication that Jaye Ward has. A force of nature who’s been wielding the acid, since acid began, Jaye still embodies the raw spirit of UK club culture – screaming into the void and moving bodies.

For three decades, she’s been keeping it real in the sweaty backrooms of Stoke-on-Trent’s Golden to the hallowed halls of fabric. Her path weaves through the history of British dance music like a rebel’s tale – from squat parties to Sabresonic, from The End to Turnmills, from Homobloc and Dalston Superstore to Field Maneuvers…and maybe somewhere else this summer that we might have a little hand in.
