This Kirtan program was held by the Sikh Youth Federation and York Sikh Students Association.

It was dedicated to Shaheed Jathedaar Gurdev Singh Kaunke who on January 1st, 1993 was kidnapped, tortured, and disappeared by the Indian police for fearlessly standing with the truth and raising his voice against human rights violations.
