After the first album, Stóisís decided to try to record one last album: ‘Its Pretty Near Bedtime When Daylights Over’. As soon as the album was finished, the three of them headed off to Amsterdam, and they haven't been seen since. But they left a few copies of the album. It's an ambitious album, with the band trying to explore the more natural, primal side to music, while drunk. Anyone who's heard of Tom Joad will be moved by "The Tale of Tom Joad", while fans of murder ballads will be intrigued by "the ghosts of the winter graveyard". The classic Stóisís singalongs "Billy McFlurry" and "I wish I was workin'" are here, and the album contains also guest vocals by Darla Carlin, most powerfully on "It might be a bad time now."
