This is a collection of my performance of German and Italian art songs with sample-based virtual instruments. All the works are arranged into chamber ensemble from original vocal pieces.

Schubert - Nacht und Träume

The lyrics of this song were written by Wolfgang Goethe. Schubert composed on this peom twice, one as D.259 and another as D.296. This D.259 is less known, but it's my favorite version.

Respighi - Contrasto

Anton Bruckner composed many motets during his life. “Locus iste” is one of his motets that are performed the most frequently. This is my transcription of the four-part choral work into a piece for a small orchestra comprising of strings, a flute, an oboe, a clarinet, a bassoon and a horn. And the glass harp enhances the soprano part. 

Here’s the text of the motet:

Locus iste a Deo factus est, inaestimabile sacramentum, irreprehensibilis est.
