The core of our Milky Way galaxy is densely packed with gas, dust, stars, and stellar remnants, but its centerpiece is a monster black hole with a mass of 4 million Suns called Sagittarius A* (pronounced “A-star”). This sonification tracks an image of the galactic center captured by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope in optical light.

The translation begins on the left side of the image and moves to the right, with sounds representing the positions and brightness of the sources. The light of objects located toward the top of the image take on higher pitches, while their brightness controls the volume. Hubble’s view of the galactic center outlines energetic regions where stars are being born.

Kerbal Space Program Main Theme - Orchestral Tribute

This is my third and final variation on the Kerbal Space Program Main Theme.

I Grew up with the 8-bit era of gaming, and have a still to this day love my Nintendo Entertainment System! I wanted to make a proper NES version of the Ksp theme, as it could have sounded if it where released back in the 80's.

To make it Authentic im using a proper Emulation of the NES sound chip, and restricted myself to the limitations of the NES by never using more then the classic 5-channels the NES audio chip could handle.

The album begins with a reminiscence of the sea, reverberating waves and suspended echoes of distant, almost forgotten territories. Curved vibrations, nocturnal environments mixed with contemporary research attitudes within the world of liminal/drone music. Oblique surfaces bending in the transposition of azimuth, memory and flow becoming the result of a hypothetical jump. A plastic and interpretative configuration of a body movement, the desire to grow consciously via unresolved mimesis, compendiums of intuitive constellations, deep white light meditation.
