It’s an honor to curate these ritualistic moments for dancers as they explore what it’s like to exist outside the body. About the mix: When I think of house music, I think of celebration, of divas and queer icons who paved the way and served as examples. Electronic music can have its moments of trance and introspection, but house music proposes a socialization that takes place in performance: in fashion, singing, and dance, everything is collective. For this set, I brought my most intimate references, which are mainly related to urban dances: old school vogue, wacking disco, break hip hop, tribal dabke, among others. I think about the memory of my body and what I love to dance, my way of transcending and lending my energy to the dance floor.
I like to propose each set in a cinematic way, like an adventure that traverses different genres, energies, and bpms. I hate linearly happy sets; I prefer to create an emotional journey that allows the audience to experience different sensations. I have a strong influence from soul, acid house, and jazz, with a lot of drama and the presence of many instruments, which makes electronic music more human and authentic.

"Will Automagic aka William Lynn moved to New York in 1992 from Austin, TX and was already DJing there by the mid 90s before he was legally old enough to be in the clubs. Over the years he has played all over including past NYC residencies at Vandam and as part of the roving warehouse party SPANK, and has produced records as part of Automagic, The Carry Nation, and Majorettes. On the roster of The Bunker, he now plays solo and as part of The Carry Nation at their Good Room, Basement & Battle Hymn residencies in NYC, and all over the world. His latest project is co-founding the record label Major Records NYC. Will is a child of The Loft & The Sound Factory and his sound is as varied and unified as the influences that create the magic that is New York."

DJing since 2004, Fernando Nascii's relationship with electronic music has been as consistent and creative as his performances behind the decks. Despite the musical references undeniably rooted in House Music, Nascii also transits and flirts with mastery with genres such as disco, acid house and techno. It was precisely this versatility that led Nascii to create the Gop Tun collective, party and record label that has given prominence and deeply altered the scene of electronic music in Brazil. Gop Tun, on all fronts, became a fertile ground for Nascii's talent to find the space needed to grow and, as a result, start traveling Brazil and the world to play in clubs, parties and festivals. If you see Nascii in a booth the footwork will be natural and constant just in the same way as he travels through the music.
