Laura was a mother, philanthropist, advocate, and nurse. She was also a writer, a seamstress, an artist, and Jill of all trades. She was madly in love with Albuquerque where she ended up as a runaway at the age of 18. Her work can be found in the bellies of homeless and manic text messages or open mics and messy journals.
