It was written during a road trip from Pittsburgh to Nashville in just few minutes.
Its about second chances, dreams and love.

This song is my dedication to one of my favorite places on earth, New York is like home for me, my soul belongs to that city.
I wrote a great part of this song just sitting on the sidewalk in front of Delancey St. Station in a warm summer night.
My fav verse: "When you're alone in New York, you can find silence in the city noice and hear the sound of your soul's voice".

New York (Radio Edit)

it is all about dualism, SINS and Desire. The song itself its a constant contrast between the verse and the chorus, like a melody and tempo fight, like a fight between sin and desire.

Keywords and their meaning:

-Journey: I say journey 2 times in the song (dualism) the journey you can't leave is your dream, your vision, what you really are, what you desire to reach but what you are afraid to be....that journey is always in my head(chorus) 

- Mistakes: I say mistakes 2 times (dualism) we are made by mistakes, but sometimes the mistakes are what make us free to be who we really are, intact we can say that a mistake is a mistake based on our concept of what is wrong (sin) but in the verse I Cleary ask a question on this matter.

-The bottle and the wrong choice: open bottle full of pain mean, what doest it mean? bottle full of alcohol, is a symbol of a drug who can temporary take us away from reality, in this case drug (what can take you away from reality) is every social deal, every second choice we accept if we dont have the courage and the strength to keep the path we were born to walk. as much as we drink this drug, as long as we live this lie the bottle never gets empty because it fills with our pain, so we leave our desire ( fire) be sedated be rain (sin, or social constraints)

It's about that time when you lost someone important, the first love. It is about what you keep in your memory and in your heart for the rest of your life without that person.

NASH, pseudonym of Francesco Ficorilli (Rome 31/08/1991), is an Italian rocksinger-songwriter. Originally from Latina, Italy, he has always been fascinated by American culture to the point of opening, in 2014, a brand of American restaurants / burgerries following his many frequent stays in the United States.

The decision to become an entrepreneur with a passion for American food forces him to abandon the university where he studied economics. Secretly since childhood he cultivated his passion for music by writing songs that he never shared with anyone.

Everything changed during a trip to Nashville, Tennessee, USA, in 2017. Francesco was so fascinated by that place, which some call Music City, to finally decide to share his art with the world and to pay homage to the city being called precisely NASH. Eight months later he returned to Nashville to record his first EP "Sins & Desires".

His lyrics are about love, the meaning of life, our inner being and also include a tribute to another place personally and artistically important to him, New York, to which he dedicates a song in the EP.

“New York” is going to be the first single before the EP release. Stay tuned for his first studio album “ Wild America” out in 2019.
