This piece is a very condensed idea about "AGE"-ing and the wild rides we embark on during that process. The AGE pitch motif is spread throughout the composition.

If i could ever got the chance to met the man with the hat 
i would ask him about the meaning of the words that he said (1)
and how he knows so many things aboutthe past, the present and the future (1)

twenty years of boredom is just a blink of an eye (2)
Against the fears for freedom which is threatened to die
how many why's are justified when the answer stands written by the clouds in the sky

the holy dove moved back to it's cote to hatch the egg
with every single breath she drew full of love she awaits birth (3)
how many miracles do you waiting for?
if they've already catch the sight light of day before (4)

His songs of hope are not like songs of people in danger 
who whish that their desasters would not last any longer (5)
He does not have to drown out the sirens of warning
To amplify his feelings that want to be listened 

he looked at me and asked me why? I wanted to know this from him
especially now, on a Wednesday evening of all nights?  
I wondered and asked him what? difference does it make  
He said wendsday seems to be the symbol of randomly choosen time   
Without beginning and without any end like a clock that will never chime  
It does not matter what was before or what happen after that (6)

And his eyes told me that he had seen more than
we might imagine together at all  
But everybody knows, that it's now or never  (7)

He was lost for so long his voice has falling in silent 
From the distance of the past only his verses reminded 
but he came back to close the gashes
reappear and rise like the phoenix from the ashes (8)

With wine and cigarettes as a formula with which 
he’s searching for his golden voice like an alchemist (9)
Without any choice he reaches our hearts  (10)
so calm and gentle, so somber and 

if i ever come by, to that hotel in New York 
i devote myself to his paintings and his art works (11)
climb into one of the waiting limousines
sit next to the figures of beauty from his dreams (11)

the lock of hair, one of his sleeping enemies (12)
has falling to the ground right in front of my knees (13)
while i listen to these poems, of which he can be very proud
But he has just turned his back from the crowd (also 11)

As he looked at her, she started to cry! Impressed by his enchanting charm 
so many ladies have fallen for him 
and to be for him at his feet   (14)
it was just simply his own way   
Without any self-conceit  

He is the keeper of truth, the guardian of beauty 
his vision can’t never be wrong  (15)
A relentless seeker with deep suffering 
who became, who he really was  
filled with loneliness, success and love
he was able to pass them on to us  
And his songs are the proves how we can achieve
so much, with every single word  
But everybody knows, that it's now or never
