Summer has come early with Nasi TauTona’s ‘Rhydim’ - The first single from the Maftown motswakolista’s debut EP features Towdeemac & Wunda.

Maftown emcee and member of Motswako trio HashOne have released a new single ‘Rhydim’, which is the first from his debut solo project titled ‘Basadiluxe’. This smash hit features the legendary Towdeemac and Wunda and like so many Motswako favorites of yesteryear the song is a breath of fresh air within the mainstream hip hop scene. The summer jam gives us a fusion of different sounds from the African continent, incorporating hip-hop, Afrobeat, and R&B to create his very own unique sound. 

Nasi TauTona’s debut EP is set to drop in July of 2022 and is surely going to bring some much-needed new energy to the South African music scene. Keep your ears on the ground for this amazing talent from Maftown.

He is yet another one of many South African hip hop talents to emerge from Mahikeng, the capital of the North West province.
