We’re super excited to present the next guest, very talented artist from Russia Nocow. Nocow  is the stage name of Aleksei Nikitin, a St. Petersburg-based electronic artist who got his music released through various record labels such as Rekids, Figure, Clone, Gost Zvuk, Styrax, and many more. Gathering influence from dozens of different genres, Nocow never has a been in his bonnet as you won’t ever guess where his next piece will lead you to. Inspired by the endless baltic winters, the producer packs his tracks with emotions, engulfing the listener in winching waves of melancholic electronica. Pushing his music from soothe and calm ambient tunes to techno dance-floor killers, he has served as one of St. Petersburg's most consistently intriguing musical exports over the past few years.

Autorem naszego kolejnego podcastu jest 105L (@dub_72) - weteran południowej sceny deep/dub techno, szara eminencja dipawek od Chrzanowa po Gliwice, koleżka, z którym stażem na głębawkowej scenie małopolski mógłby konkurować chyba tylko Optik (z którym zresztą Olek niejednokrotnie krzyżował Ortofony w ramach kolektywu Mekkatech). Obecnie 105L angażuje się w house'owy projekt Sound w/ Friends a także dubowo zorientowany Rockerround.

W nagranym dla nas secie Olek śmiało halsuje między ciepłym, korzennym dubem, eksperymentalnymi wcieleniami gatunku spod znaku Shinichiego Atobe i zdubowanym, swingującym housem. W powietrzu czuć wiosnę.

This was my first ever drum'n'bass mix recorded in February 2007. Recently I was driving my car in the beginning of quarantine and this mix was a random choice of my player. I felt so inspired by selection and the story behind (my personal flashback) so I decided to share it with you. I did not change the original name of it as I think 'spirit' is the right definition of this mix. When I was playing it I didn't understand much about dnb scene and culture - even better, as this way I could only express what I feel about it through the music. Already one of the best-known eastern European techno/house DJs, Nastia’s star is firmly in the ascendancy globally. Her style is to an extent adaptable but she has a sound that is unmistakably her own. The last three years have been a whirlwind of gigs for Nastia. Her twilight techno, melancholic minimal, stripped-down ghetto funk and sustained house have been wowing crowds all around the world. She’s recently signed to the prestigious agency Bullitt DJ so her travellings are going to be even further afield every week.
