Dustin Zahn's Enemy Records returns with four raw and relentless Techno cuts from Marcal, VIL, Bidoben, and Nastia Reigel. On this rare occurrence, Enemy sets aside the deep psychedelia in favor of unapologetic party tracks. It's a perfect soundtrack for very messy nights.

On "Break a Fancy Vase," Enemy welcomes back Marcal after his recent "Thought Control" EP for the particularly slamming "Never Wrote This." Nastia Reigel is finally back on the label for the first time in a couple years with the equally spooky and trippy "Not Int."

Joining the resistance for their first time is VIL and Bidoben. VIL's "Miles" cut has made its way into Zahn's sets for a while now and it's here in its final form. Bidoben is fresh off his latest Truncate EP with "L'Ère du Fragment," a track brimming with attitude.

Falling Ethics welcomes Berlin based Nastia Reigel with a first full EP for the label. Having contributed one track to last year's label anniversary compilation, she now delivers four of her excellent forceful techno jams to form the Over And EP. Over the course of four tracks there's a constant tension that combines sturdy drum patterns and propulsive grooves. The kick drums are playful and the thundering bass lines strengthen this impeccable outburst of energy even more. It's a high intensity pack of dancefloor focussed techno with many mischievous details that stand out.

Last fall when she crossed paths with Function (Dave Sumner), the mutual admiration was instantaneous and they developed a reciprocal appreciation for each other’s creative output. Upon hearing the immediacy of her demos, Sumner didn’t just want a 12-inch; he proposed to work on a full-length Identity. The result now serves as solid evidence that she’s intentionally pushing the label forward into new places. 

It’s no surprise that Sandwell District championed the album early on — nearly every track showed up in their DJ mixes and podcasts, marking Nastia Reigel as a new favorite artist of techno’s most influential collective.

An Hour Of Electro And Acid (2016)

Nastia Reigel’s long-awaited sophomore EP on Dustin Zahn’s ‘Enemy Records’ has finally arrived! Disarm to Surrender demonstrates a perfect balance of artistic taste and technical ability.

The EP starts off with the heaviest track "Horses".

Backed by hypnotizing chopped-up vocals, the track hammers through steadily with no compromises. Trace follows in a more restrained and minimalistic fashion but manages to retain perfect tension. The B-side starts off with Natural Desires. It’s equally as hypnotic as the A side but more spatial and groove-focused,
making it an ideal candidate for warming up or winding down.

The titular track Disarm to Surrender completes the EP in a more abstract way. The track hints at the noise and post-punk leaning influence found in her alternative project, Rosa Damask.
