Lo-fi heavyweights Mr. Käfer & Phlocalyst are restructuring the metaphysics of a jazz thing (to quote Gang Starr). “Cloudscapes” is the first single from their album “Now / Again” on Melting Pot Music. The smooth beat is wrapped in warm melodic layers, led by Phlocalyst's distinctive horn, and accompanied by Sátyr’s vibrant guitar riffs. Flemish producer Phlocalyst lives in Munich where he plays in a classical orchestra. Mr. Käfer was born in Salzburg, Austria with family ties in Algeria. He lives in Cologne where he fuses boom-bap & jazz with North-African music.

The REVISIT Soundtrack was initiated by Markus Oberndorfer as part of his media art project REVISITED which features 360 video, media installation, photography, collage, and an artist book. Six befriended musicians were invited to provide three tracks each and given the assignment to send contributions representing their interpretations of the 360 videos recorded of the Sunset Strip in 2016 as part of REVISITED.
REVISIT OST is part of the installations virtual experience in form of radio broadcasts and subject of digital release and three limited physical releases on split 12“ vinyl. The vinyl is available in two versions à 150 copies: 1. Rhythm-Section (sound) and Rhythm- & Sequence-Frame-Section (sound & visual concept).
3 x 12’’ Vinyl // 18 dope contributions by Parental, Sirlensalot, Devaloop, Lex (de Kalhex), Kompakt & Dday One // Special Edition #Album bundle with #UNIQUE collage concept. Collectively owned art object.
