Exclusive Active Child 'Johnny Belinda (MDK Remix)'

Active Child's tune 'Johnny Belinda' gets the remix treatment from Dutch electronic music legend Matthew Dekay The producer has been responsible for one of Innervisions' biggest hits, 'Lost In A Moment', and also produced the groundbreaking EP 'Amity' including the summer hit 'Fangtango' on Maeve. With his remix for Active Child's track 'Johnny Belinda' Dekay once again proves his ability to turn an original track into his own piece of work. Melodic melancholic synth chords shape the body of MDK's remix approach and are set with a reserved bass line that fully unfolds its punch as the remix proceeds. But it certainly is the vocal that puts its mark on the track and Dekay manages to make the interaction between the vocals and soundscapes sound so easy. 

Active Child's EP 'Johnny Belinda Remixes' will be released April 30th, 2018 on Subtract Music.

Belkina is a talented young artist hailing from Odessa, Ukraine. With her career taking her to cities like New York, Berlin, and now London, she has been making waves in the global music scene.

Since 2015, Belkina has been one of the resident DJs at Ibiza Beach Club, one of Ukraine's top clubs. This prestigious residency has allowed her to showcase her unique style and skills to a wide audience.

Belkina's DJ sets are known for their ability to tell a captivating story, often with a touch of magic.
