Musik konserviert wohl wie kaum ein anderes Medium Erinnerungen. Und eigentlich wollten wir diese wunderbaren vier Jahre nicht mit Worten verabschieden, sondern mit Grooves. Deshalb kommt hier das Hommage Set mit vielen musikalischen Momentaufnahmen aus den Sommernächten im Wald. Die Aufnahme des Sets war eine krasse Zeitreise für uns und wir hoffen einige von Euch entdecken selber ihre Momente auf der Tanzfläche wieder. Viel Spaß mit 67 Minuten Sonne und Wald und Freiheit! Dreht das ordentlich auf, damit das Echo noch lange nachhallt!

JJ’s groove is an homage to Montreal, which I’ve called home for the last 8 years. The boogie, Brazilian funk, and Afrobeat that you hear up and down Boulevard St. Laurent were big influences on the track - as was the overall joie de vivre of the city. 

As you might guess from the meek lyrical content and my conspicuous accent, this is one of the first times I’ve attempted to write a song in French. That being said, I felt it would be a good way to pay tribute to the city and culture that have given me so much.
