905 is seriously fresh, with an outside-of-the-box bassline, slinky-clinky percs and an outrageous ear-worm of a vocal. On the flip, it's remixed by tech-genius Alvaro Smart, who adds his own elements to completely reframe the original as a four to the floor banger. The B Side which you can't afford to miss is 'The Lift', a stompy, soulful cut full of energy with honest throwbacks to the original Chicago House.

Making his entry straight from Colombia, Guzt makes no mistake about his sound and his confidence is layered all over his latest EP, Beautiful Day.

The A Side is a swingy, animated groover with tons of energy and absolute vibes. Quality synth and vocal play shape up a mega tech-house multi-tool for any purpose. The B is the tropical taste of Expectation - serious grooves, familiar sounds and chunks of rhythmic power - if you're not shaking your body to this one, then call a doctor.

Returning to NFR for his second release, following on from his critically acclaimed, Soul Weaver EP, Elijah Collins introduces more of his techno vibes into these killer cuts. Featuring a classy percussive remix from Tom Finn &amp; Gud Stuff, Undeniable is a musical oxymoron, combining dark feelings with and serious and uplifting beat. My Belief maintains the mood.

NastyFunk are proud to present their new artist ‘Oh Yeah’. Two producers from London, who in a short space of time have already collaborated with Fleur East, Aina Roxx, been remixed by Hot Toddy and toured with DJ Fresh amongst other exciting projects.

Their latest release ‘Sleep On It’, features the super-soulful vocals of Joel Culpepper, another exciting young artist, who has worked alongside Groove Armada on their hit single ‘Call Me’ on the excellent Moda Black label. 

‘Sleep On It’, is a classy sublime piece of electronica, Joel’s vocals gliding through a sultry blend of melodic bliss, all anchored alongside a gentle 808 groove. 

The final two remixes take us to Brazil. Gabe (Suara, Get Physical) keeps true to the original, whilst notching up the tempo and feel-good vibe to create a really individual style. Volkoder (Hot Creations, Material) takes a different direction, turning the drum-dial up to 10 and blitzing the vibe into a funky affair for those underground heads.

House and techno producer, Jef K, is first of the remixers. Delivering a genuine slice of that original deep house/garage’esque sound.

NF058: Oh Yeah Ft. Joel Culpepper - Sleep On It (Gabe Remix)

NastyCutz is back! By far the most awaited release every year in the NFR catalog, the compilation series never fails to deliver - and these 10 carefully selected tracks from our label family and friends keep the torch burning.

Simmering with excitement and impatiently waiting to be released onto a dancefloor near you, the release features a slick selection of tech and house from talented producers such as DJOKO (Defected), Ralo & Strada (I’m a House Gangster), Troncoso (Get Physical), Lucca (Deeperfect) and more.

Opening track, Toolbox, is the perfect weapon - an absolute stomper whatever the weather; Dale El Ritmo, from Retro Future, is a classy tech house joint stuffed with Balearic vibes for those closing (or opening) parties and Ketami's 'Twisted' is a seriously stylish grooooover.

Newbie, Lazor, has a really individual sound on point with his funky and aptly named Pump It, Miami's Ralo and Stradas' cut is a no-nonsense house bomb, whilst Troncoso's return to the label with Villeda is a serious peak-time slice of minimalist underground.

Big room techno is killing it at the moment, and Antonio Andrea' has all the right elements to send the room into a ruckus once the drop hits in his cut, Amsterdam. Filthy French and Blacat meanwhile get ludicrously creative with the absolutely sublime, nasty as you can push it, with Nepenthes Lowii, their wedge of forward-thinking electronica.

Flashingroof and Andruss get their first taste of life with NastyFunk with G Force, where we get a boatload of deep sexy vibes pull us back to that good place. Finally we always love to welcome Peter Cruch back to the label and Phylanthrope is another dose of his signature sound, whilst newcomer, Artashes Uliyanov finishes with the perfect end of session track, weird and wonderful - just what we like.

NastyFunk Records proudly present one of Deep House's hottest properties; http://soundcloud.com/finnebassen, with his first ever solo offering via an almighty EP. In addition, NF006 provides us with an all star cast to seal this diamond edged release, and ensure that this is one you have to own.

"What You Do", is a fantastic piece of dance music, fusing Finnebassen's famous funk and organic beats with a super-catchy, upbeat vocal that will have you singing while you dance… long after the track has finished. The awesome breakdown throws in more elements that make the track complete and cement the feeling.  The B Side, "A Little Somethin Somethin" is the perfect compliment to the former, a soundtrack of deep thoughts and memories, filled with hazy pads, a silky percussion and a smooth baseline.

The remixes on the do incredible justice to the original mix of  "What You Do" and are greatly diverse in what they set out to achieve. The first, http://soundcloud.com/demarzo 's take on proceedings is fully flavoured and the nastiest of the bunch, with a delicious combination of groove, funk and rhythm. Secondly, Mexican rising stars, http://soundcloud.com/nobody-knows-us, bring us a darkly inspiring piece. Thoughtful and deep, this one is a journey into our hearts and minds. The final remix is from one of NastyFunk Records' head honchos, http://soundcloud.com/jonny-hendriks. His version of the original offers a forward-thinking dynamic, fusing contemplation with cosmic beats.

Next up on NastyFunk is a two-tracker from K-Mack with remix support from Rone White & Rowen Clark.

Since bursting on to the scene last year K-Mack has wasted no time in making a name for himself as a producer. Signed to a number of well-performing labels including Repopulate Mars and Chuggy Trax his no-nonsense Tech is finding fans all over the globe.

Opening with 'Said & Done' a guttural tribal groove makes way for diva vocals and bumpy, drumtastic ride. Next up, 'Stutter' takes a deep rolling tech path. Clattering percussions and wonky vocals add interest throughout. On remix duties, Rone White & Rowen Clark add more intrigue to the original motifs and toughen up the groove.

Hailing from Warrington in the North of England, Ben Walsh' arrival on the scene in the last 12 months has been a rapidly successful one, his maiden release, Afrikan Dance hitting #1 on Beatport's top 100 across all genres.

His first release for NastyFunk, 'Can't U See' is an uplifting funk of a track, investing in minorly happy 303 patterns and intelligent percussive movement. It make you shake.

B Side 'Le's We Go' carries more of the exotic flavour over with some great use of analogue drum sounds and atmospheric vocals overlayed on a simply effective 4 x 4 groove.

On remix duties are label boss, Erik Christiansen and partner David Museen bringing a fresh energetic take on the original.

Christiano Rosso returns with a thumping tech groover. Remix support comes from Alessio Bianchi and Alessandro Diruggiero. 

Bulgarian sensation Cristiano Rosso has 'dirty beach music running through his veins'. And it's that enthusiasm that's seen him continue to impress after breaking into the scene earlier this year. His follow up to debut release 'Body Language' is more of the same rolling tech that piqued our interest to begin with. 

On remix duties, fellow Italian-Bulgarian Alessio Bianchi has the same beach music mentality and turns in a silky smooth re-rub while Alessandro Diruggiero adds some mediterranian flair for his bumpy remake.

The original mix of She Don't Want It, perfect for both the underground as well as all those pool & beach parties in the summer months, is packed full of ultra-cool vibes and contagious grooves. With smooth, catchy vocals and feel-good thoughts, it's simply a must have. The B Side, Way I Feel, is another huge track, and a testament to the 90's old school UK sound, encompassing piano chords with acid synths, underlined by a silky & super-deep baseline.
