This is our personal favourite of the label for this year!

Functional, ethereal, hallucinogen, deep, oceanic, balearic disco house. This is how Sirens Of Lesbos' first volume of their new ESSAYS series sounds like:
Moving across the genres...
While SOL's signature material is rather song structured / radio orientated, ESSAYS displays a different, more experimental and 100% dancefloor oriented dimension of the group. Volume 1 is a shamanic silver bullet for all DJs who praise dream-like house music, electronic synthesized melodic beats & grooves and some Ibiza Sunshine.

Berlin producer @Superlover returns to @mother-recordings with his upcoming "Kiss" EP (which will be released on January 30th), we at Discobelle can premiere the track "Heart Drive" which samples the Goody Goody classic track "It Looks Like Love.

The track itself is propelled forward by a pulsating bass and crisp sounding strings making this into a warm sounding surefire club bomb.

Disco MFS - Dream

Slow and smooth build up with an intense but mellow peak that just goes on and on. It fills you with empathy and intense sensation heightening. SWIM smoked a joint halfway through and melted into the couch. It’s perfect for a rolling party with a group of friends, though SWIM imagines it would be great for a proper party too. Sometimes SWIM felt like dancing, but spent most of the time staring into space. This is really nice, intense, smooth and mellow. Get ahold of these if you get the chance!

Note: Your experience will vary depending on your settings. If you're in a bad place with bad people, you won’t feel a thing.

Chicago producer and DJ, Aguila offers up the first release on 90's dance imprint 'There Is Love In You' with a fabulous EP of trance-infused house music laced with rickety breaks and rhythmic bass. Chock full of glitter-sprinkled synths, woozing deep basslines and melody-rich, heart-warming songwriting. 

We're premiering 'The Club On 27th West', the B2 on the record yet definitely not winding things down. Still waving the flag high for wooshing Trancey nostalgia, yet arguably the most 'club ready' cut on the EP. It rumbles, builds and builds, yet remaining fully self-aware and accepting of it's purpose and ultimate crescendo. Hold out for the breakdown - hairs on end stuff.

We’ve observed the resurgence in broken beat and sometimes it feels like an over-used production hack. However, Parish gives the broken beat genuine purpose in this acidic, emotionally charged 7 minute sojourn. It reminds us a little bit of Tin Man, which can be no bad thing!
