Composer tried to give the musical equivalent to the images, mentioned in the title of the piece that first of all reflected in the construction of the form. The piece consists of three fragments (apart from coda), the first and the third are an inexact reflection (as if in a distorting mirror) of each other: timbres, time signature, registers and texture changes follow the contours of the opposite section. The second section, from the middle of which repeat starts (or, in other words, an echo, a reflection), consists of two episodes, one of which is written in combination with a repeat, the other is written throughout.

One of the books dedicated to the founder and long-time director of the Polish Radio Experimental Studio Józef Patkowski is entitled “Patkowski. Ambassador of music from Mars”.
As the author of the book Agnieszka Pindera explains, electronic music at the time of its appearance - was most often heard in documentaries on space.

In 2021 humanity can already hear the sounds of Mars, but it still needs - ambassadors of the future, visionaries, inventors of new thinking, discoverers of new ways of developing art and society.

The futuristic artists of the 1920s were the same ambassadors of the future in European culture. Those who laid the foundations of new musical thinking, including the esthetic foundations of electronic music, to the development of which Józef Patkowski dedicated his life.

The world discovered by Józef Patkowski, the world of electronic music, the real "universe of sound" was no less impressive than the "space of the starry sky", and its study in the mid-1950s was like the discovery of a new planet.

Józef Patkowski paid great attention to the involvement of scientific approaches in the development of artistic practice in the field of electroacoustic music, sound synthesis research and acoustic research methods in musicology.

The work “Prostory Svitla ” is an attempt to involve artistic futuristic practices and constructivist principles of the art of Ukrainian futurism

in the contemporary artistic context.

Among such concepts, the first is the idea of "constructive dynamism", described by Valerian Polishchuk in the magazine "Avant-garde" in 1929, where the author reflects on the problem of artistic perception the dynamic nature of reality.

"Dulce Lumen" for soprano and pipe organ is based on a fragment of the Book of Ecclesiastes of the Old Testament, which talks about the fragility of world perception and the paradoxes of life. The text tells us about the proximity of joy and pain, light and darkness in life and the inevitability of these oppositions. The need for constant balance between light and darkness is reflected by soprano and pipe organ voices weaving diatonic textures, which give meaning to the essential idea of the Ecclesiastes' book: "All is Vanity".

Mykolas Natalevičius (b. 1985) is a young Lithuanian composer active in various fields of music, from the acoustic instrumental music to the experimental electronics. His work involves composing, playing piano, singing and conducting. According to composer, music was not his initial field of creativity. He began his creative path in the fine arts, successfully participating in various art exhibitions and competitions, and started his music studies at the age of sixteen. He studied composition (with Prof. Vytautas Barkauskas and Ričardas Kabelis) at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, graduating in 2011. He also attended singing (Deividas Staponkus and Algirdas Janutas) and symphonic conducting (Gintaras Rinkevičius) lessons. In 2010 Mykolas Natalevičius studied at the Danish Institue of Electronic Music with Henrik Munch, also attended singing class at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus with Ingrid Haking Raby. In 2011, his Kampana for symphony orchestra won the Debut Prize at the annual Best Works of the Year awards of the Lithuanian Composers' Union. In 2012 he was awarded the Young Artist Prize by the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture.
