Feelings with Natalia - 13th November 2018

Here's my April Reform Radio show where I talked about climate change and the underground music scene. It's split into 3 sections where I discuss a few reasons why the industry has such a high carbon footprint, some things that are currently being done in the scene to address climate change, as well as solutions for the future.

April Reform Radio w/ TamTam

Happy Pride month everyone! For this month’s radio show I’ve put together a mix of some of my favourite queer/queer-influenced music from an era of dance music deriving mainly out of POC, queer communities in America in the 70s, 80s & 90s. Queer people used clubs such as Larry Levan’s Paradise Garage in New York and the Warehouse in Chicago as a refuge from the persecutions faced in every day life being LGBTQ+ people in a time where it wasn’t safe to be out and proud. This is why pride month is so important, to honour those who fought and paved the way for gay rights and gay liberation, as well as to celebrate the amazing art and culture that these communities were so instrumental in creating, such as the underground dance and rave scene.

I’ve packed it with house, italo, disco and techno cuts with fierce vocal layers for good measure, hope you enjoy!

AWAY DAYS was our online festival hosted in May, which brought together a range of talented artists based in Leeds in order to raise money for our local food banks.

The music was incredible throughout the day - listen back here to Natalia who brought loads of energy during evening, streaming from her greenhouse which was no doubt the best venue of the lot.
