60 second men are arse

In 2005 at age 39 I took a chance at life again and after applying was lucky enough to be selected in a Radio Broadcasting Class. I had so much creativity within, but could I succeed? Well I blessed to have a man who is by far the best producer in Australian radio as my tutor. Brian ‘Wizard’ Newington responsible for producing the old Graham Kennedy kitchen show. Brian also was the original producer of Australia’s MMM Radio. The man is genius and he engaged my creative mind and somehow every single assignment I completed was a High Distinction.

I went on to do voiceovers and a little community radio. But I had a show in my head that I wanted to produce.

At the same time fate had its way with me. But I never gave up. Finally I am at a point in life where the right people are in my world and I am proactively working to break every barrier that has stopped me in the past. 

Originally I wanted to sell my show to a mainstream station finding a sponsor is not something I would have a problem attaining. BUT.. in a strange turn of events 3 years ago I started getting mad with mainstream as I noted all public on air figures are bound by contract to parrot a narrative and the kind of show I have in my head can not be part of any narrative. Therefore, I’m currently looking at producing an independent podcast. 

It may be 16 years late.. but I promise not you but myself it’s now or never.

By 2022 I’ll be back and I promise you something very different to the average show.

2021 is ‘tweaking’ year.
