A recent collaborative songwriting project I did with some very talented artists and songwriters.

Hannah Howard is a 22 year old vocalist and lyricist. Her songs are influenced by the folk and ballad styles where lyrics play a focal role. She takes much influence from artists such as Laura Marling, Kina Grannis, Lewis Watson and Sara Barielles. Her inspirations for lyrics are ones layered in metaphors and that tell a story in a new way. Her captivating performances are empowered by her vocal ability, her vocal tone is precious and rare and breathes life to her songs. Truly a unique artist.

Luke Targett is a Singer/Songwriter, Producer, Multi-Instrumentalist, and the founder of In-House Records. Over the years, he has worked with many professionals in the industry and gained lots of valuable experience in songwriting/composition, production and arrangement. With a great work ethic and positive attitude to music, Luke keeps very active in the industry, and enjoys working on lots of different projects and alongside other people.

Max Bakker is an experienced Southampton based songwriter who has composed in a range of styles: from acoustic folk ballads to funk rock-n-roll. Working with a varying range of artists, his talents are suited to writing music that suits the style of anyone who works with. An experienced multi-instrumentalist, Max specialises in track writing, with a strong ethos on building powerful arrangements as backing for singers.

It's about a relationship and those within it drifting apart. How people are tied together in history and how hard it is to let go. The term 'blue' captures the mood.
