When we were working on the production for ‘Doin' It,’ I wanted to create something that was both modern and timeless. So, we went for a clean, tight beat right from the start. You can hear how the drums are crisp and set the foundation, but they don’t overpower the rest of the track. They allow space for the vocals to really shine.

The verses have this laid-back feel, with subtle synths and warm chords that support the vocals without distracting from them. It’s minimal but intentional, giving the listener room to focus on the lyrics. In the verses, I’m really telling a story—about taking control, moving with confidence, and staying true to yourself, no matter what. There’s this almost conversational tone in the way I sing it, like I’m talking directly to you.

When we get to the chorus, the energy lifts, and that’s when you feel the anthem side of it. The instrumentation fills out more, and the backing vocals come in to add richness. The bass starts hitting a little harder, and it’s almost like the song is saying, ‘Yeah, this is it, this is your moment.’ I wanted it to feel empowering, like the music is wrapping around you, supporting you.

Then, as the song moves into the bridge, things strip back a little again. I always love that moment in a song where it pulls back before building back up. It’s like a breath of fresh air before you push forward again. In this part, there’s a bit more focus on harmonies and vocal layering, giving it this reflective, almost introspective vibe. It’s a chance to pause and take in the message before we bring it all home.

The outro leaves you on a high, like you’re ready to take on the world, which is exactly what I wanted. You should feel like you can conquer anything after hearing this track.

“Care Less” is all about letting go of the weight and expectations people try to put on us. I wanted it to feel like a moment of clarity—like that split-second realization when you decide you don’t have to carry around other people’s judgments or doubts. It's empowering, but also raw; it’s about the freedom that comes with saying, “You know what? I just don’t care anymore.”

I worked my azz of to make the  sound just right. The instrumental has a mix of deep bass and sharp, crisp percussion that gives it a little edge. There’s this steady groove to it, almost hypnotic, and that’s intentional. I wanted it to feel like a mantra, something you can get lost in. The beat kind of mirrors that feeling of rising above, lifting you up and away from the noise.

Vocally, I kept things soulful but didn’t hold back on the grit—I wanted that honest, real sound, like I'm talking directly to you. There’s a bit of reverb and layering to give it that larger-than-life feel, like you're in that mental space with me, breaking free from whatever’s been holding you down.

When I was creating Paper Airplanes I wanted the production to mirror the feeling of longing and vulnerability—a delicate balance between fragility and strength. It’s about distance, both physical and emotional, and I wanted the music to carry that weight.

We started with the bassline, which acts like a heartbeat throughout the track. It’s deep and steady, grounding the song in this sense of yearning. Then, we brought in layers of soft pads and ambient synths to create an airy, almost weightless feeling, like the paper airplanes in the title. These elements sit just behind the vocals, filling the space without overwhelming it.

The percussion was intentionally kept light and dynamic. We used crisp snares and sharp claps to create this sense of forward motion, symbolizing the journey. Just a few notes, a simple bass pulse, and my voice carry the weight before the final chorus lifts you back into the full soundscape.
