Desta Bramosia - Move Over

She began her music studies 1997 studying modern singing with Nadia De Sanctis and Daniela Soria at the Music School in Siena and following the Theory courses held by Simona Coco.
In that School she meets many jazz musicians and she developed a deep interest for that kind of music, although instinctively she preferred  Rock.
In 1998 she went under the guidance of jazzist Titta Nesti and she followed the courses of Ear Training and Harmony & Composition by Raffaello Pareti.
From October 1998, she joined the “Desta Bramosia”.
The commitment with the new progressive-rock band pushed her to be interested not only regarding the composition but also to the technical implications required for a type of singing that prefers the unconditional use of volume and power so she followed the classical singing lessons by Donatella Debolini and Music Text Critical by  M. Gianerrico Lo Versi in Florence. The next year, she permanently added to the study of jazz singing with Nesti the study of Bel Canto with Nemi Bertagni teacher.
 At the high school, comes into contact with the Classical Theatre Company "Thiasos" where she is able to apply the fundamentals of the artistic voice use to herself and to the other young actors . 
Phoniatrics and Logopedics become two very important subjects of personal  investigation for her formation so she followed  the conferences of Dr. Franco Fussi about vocal hygiene, Voicecraft technical courses  with Alejandro Saorin Martinez and Elisa Turlà earning the Certifcate of Figure Proficiency.
She also followed  workshops about Alexander Technique in order to improve her knowledges on the body use and on psychophysical re-education.
In addition to the more pressing engagement with Desta Bramosia Band, at the end of 1990, her interest is divided between the blues&soul group GANGSTA, with which she realized Things, a Gospel Choir directed by Raffaello Pareti, and the theatrical company "Thiasos" with which addresses numerous productions directed by A. Biotti:

In 2001 she joined in the band "Funkasinò" with which she records the namesake work. The following year, when she made her university studies in Management of Performing Arts, she enrolled at the SienaJazz Academy and she followed the Vocal Improvisation courses held by Fabrizia Barresi , Piano and Harmony by Alessandro Giachero's Professor,  the Ear Training by Massimo Cantini teacher and the course of ensemble music with the participation of Matteo Addabbo and Luca Necciari.  
The thriving environment of SienaJazz Academy put her in contact with several musical reality and she started with a project that shortly will become the N.N. Jazz Quartet. 
In 2005, while she attended the Jazz Piano lessons by M° Fabio Albertosi, start to teach singing at the Cultural Association Ars-enale and joined the staff of Radio3Network for which she writes and conducts Swing-It, a program about the jazz history and related genres.
Since 2007, makes  numerous experiences in  field event management by working with the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and with major agencies of the show business taking care of tour dates on the italian territory for names like Deep Purple, PFM, Diamanda Galas, Meredith Monk, Zucchero, Fiorella Mannoia, Luciano Ligabue, Giorgio Panariello and others.
With "Desta Bramosia", she published a self-titled demo in 2002 and HydroKinesiS in 2006 and had a thriving live tour throughout Italy.
Currently her productive effort is absorbed by the new group's work that will be completed in 2012. 
Her studies are focused to learning the latest teaching methods of singing: in June 2010 she attended a Master Class about VocalPower with Elisabeth Howard. 
At the same time she explores the methods Modern Vocalist, Speech Level and Success Singing  attending another Masterclass with Brett Manning in October 2011.
In fact, since 2009, simultaneously to her artistic commitments, she has a stable teaching activity at Modern Music Institute of Empoli (Firenze), Accademia della Chitarra di Pontedera (Pisa), Ass. Musicale Pentagramma di San Gimignano (Siena).
