I was asked to write a song for lovely guy who had recently lost his wife to cancer & he wanted a song to play at her funeral. I felt it such an honor & so I wrote it from his wife's perspective of looking down from heaven to let him know she's now ok & free from pain & will always be with him.

I'm ok in heaven

I was asked to write a song for a grieving young man who had just lost his wife to a sudden & rare cancer, she was only 27 years old.  

After chatting a while & hearing his utter devastation, I wrote a song called I'm ok in heaven & he was very grateful & would listen to it every day saying it helped with his grief. So he asked if I could wrote another, so I did & this sing was written from his perspective.  I wanted to get the raw emotion of his heartbreak.  Both songs were played at the funeral, this song was played as her casket was carried out to the hearse. I've never felt so humbled & honored as a musician.

This song is about being in a crazy all consuming love affair, you know each others secrets, bad desires & being caught up in your own mad world.

This song is about being in a relationship that doesn't fit, there's something missing , there's a sadness, a loneliness about it.
