There’s a certain kind of magic in a song captured in a single breath..no studio tricks, no safety nets, just voice, vibe, and vulnerability. On this quietly arresting reimagining of a Bob Dylan classic, Manchester-based jazz-soulful artist Nat Blooms delivers exactly that: a one-take voice memo recorded live on Valentine’s Day and shared as a musical love letter with friends.

Blooms brings her signature blend of smoky vocals and cheeky intimacy to Dylan’s well-worn lines, reshaping them into something looser, warmer, and tender. Half lullaby, half confession..and wholly her own.

Valentine’s Day, her self-declared favorite holiday, is when she gives songs or handmade cards to her loved ones. This cover is part of that ritual: more than just a reinterpretation, it’s a gesture - full of affection, mischief, and quietly radical joy.

Stylishly lo-fi and emotionally rich, this home recording lands somewhere between basement jazz and indie folk, with echoes of a Billie Holiday wink or Norah Jones shrug. A soul-soaked, unpolished reinterpretation that reminds us: sometimes the most personal songs leave the deepest mark.
