Nate Michael is a singer/songwriter currently based in Naarm, Australia.

Originally from the regional coastal town of Warrnambool, Nate combines his classical music background with the musical influences of his youth, including folk, rock, country and blues, to create a unique sound of his own. Nate's sound is inspired by Americana and country songwriters such as Jason Isbell and Chris Stapleton. 

Nate studied a Masters of Music at the Victorian College of the Arts, and during this period developed a love for songwriting.

Nate’s music is inspired by the people and places he visits. Often, Nate will form a song around a small quote from someone he knows.
