Update: At the time of this song, I was very proud, put tons of time in this, but it isn't perfect. That really drove me nuts. I later redid this song to use in a video, and I am very happy with how it went! I love the song now!

Broken Barricade

You could say I am obsessed about the Outcast, in fact I created 3 separate versions. Outcast2 however was more of a experiment, and turned into this current version. It was made to sound like the first one, this expression of my feelings turned out pretty good! I made it in LogicPro, with the same project as the first one. I then I worked really hard with the electric guitars, and built everything! The first song (The Outcast), was made with some loops. This one, there was only 3 loops that I used, everything else was created, and entered by keyboard. The first one reflected on how I feel some of the time, and this one reflects better emotions, but is still a little dark.

I made this song for a video I was making for church. I was inspired by Big and Rich's song, "Live this life". I inspired from the beginning part of the song. I tried to replicate that part, didn't go so well, but it still works! Everything else was made by me! I also should add that this was made with Logic Pro 10, all on computer!

Freedom (Truth)

I had a wild idea! One day I had "Dani" by the Red hot chili peppers stuck in my head. I was beat boxing to it, and humming along. My brain would connect in and out of "Sweet Home Alabama" during that time, some how I was able to add "Back in Black" in there too. So this was my attempt at creating what my brain said works! Not too bad, plus I only had access to Audacity, a free public downloadable program. While I don't own the rights of any songs, I really wanted to share this!

This one is odd!! I love the bass guitar, and one day just went to town creating this. I enjoy a good jam, I had fun with this one. I blame it on my twisted head!

Something Odd - DJN8

I am extremely happy with this Prison. Prison to my represents being stuck, trapped, alone. Often times I am stuck in my head, and can't get out. This song is for those moments where life is just really dark and lonely. I didn't want to beat the Outcast thing to death, so I created this one, as a way to deal with similar feelings. Somedays are just really too dark to see anything.

So many thoughts and feelings about this song. Sometimes life kicks you really hard in the teeth, sometimes you find yourself deep in a whole, but there is hope! There is always hope! This song is about the dark stuff, and realizing that the demons in your life can be too big for you to handle. Sometimes you need to cry for help, and fight for your happiness. I surrender my life and heart to God.

"ONE" is about freedom, vulnerability, peace, humility, inner strength, not giving up when things get tough and most importantly, being yourself. 

"ONE" just isn't some ordinary song name, it is a reflection of me. We are all different and we all are very unique. It's pretty amazing if you really think about it. The name comes from a very special rule that I have. That rule is rule one: "Be Yourself". I live by a set of rules that are personal and created just for me but I do believe "being yourself" is not only beautiful but important for all. 

Just before sharing this song, I wondered if anyone would actually listen to this or maybe even like it. In reality, it doesn't matter. I made this song for me. I am only sharing it because I am proud of it and want to show a little vulnerability or a little piece of myself.
