I am a French Horn Performance Major at the University of Kentucky (also majoring in Arts Administration) - Class of 2015.  I began taking music lessons at the age of 7, when I began taking cello lessons. Then, at age 8, I began taking piano lessons. Along with piano, I began french horn lessons at the age of 11. However, I chose to only continue receiving french horn and piano lessons throughout middle school and high school. When it came to decide what I would major in, I decided to major in French Horn performance. 

Along with private lessons, I was very active in Christ Church United Methodist's music ministry, in Louisville, beginning in 2nd grade. I sang in every youth choir there, I was a part of the hand-bell and hand-chime choirs, and was very active in the youth ministry. I went on a total of 6 choir tours and 4 mission trips before my collegiate years at the University of Kentucky.
