Though this album is heavily influenced by "The Matrix" films owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment, my mindset when creating this album was not only to express my love for these legendary, cinematic works of art, but to also awaken the mind of each individual that listens to my tracks. I believe the references, and ideologies that are expressed throughout each film, and each track, can directly be compared to modern day society. 

No, I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I think it's important for us as humans to be aware of such things, so we can continue to go through this life with a sense of purpose.

“Jean Baudrillard’s Simulacra and Simulation”

One of the most overt philosophical references occurs near the beginning of The Matrix when Neo stashes his illegal software inside a hollowed-out copy of a book by French postmodern philosopher Jean Baudrillard entitled Simulacra and Simulation. Originally published in 1981, Baudrillard’s book argues that late-twentieth-century consumer culture is a world in which simulations or imitations of reality have become more real than reality itself, a condition he describes as the “hyper-real.”

SIMULACRA & SIMULATION

The “Allegory Of The Cave” is a theory put forward by Plato, concerning human perception. Plato claimed that knowledge gained through the senses is no more than opinion and that, in order to have real knowledge, we must gain it through philosophical reasoning.

Plato distinguishes between people who mistake sensory knowledge for the truth and people who really do see the truth.
