square jobs here essentially are to serve the elite in which now inhabit the city. if you dont work with the startups you work for the startups, pick their groceries drive them to happy hour or valet cars. independent contracting was the magic trick most still havent figured out. on the hilltops we ironically have the "undaworld" where many evolved criminality to better fit a budding sf economy. articles bounce around about us being a hip hop ghost town. rap hasnt left frisco they just dont want us here no more. the weekend warriors arent concerned with local hip hop or the redemptive narrative it may push. most artists now commute multiple cities working at least two jobs gambling studio time with rent holding on to whatever is left of the scene in SF. i see major lack of understanding of what the past years have been like for us here not only in the country but the surrounding bay area. its really a long story. this is only one of the girbauds i love yall hyphychildren hold tight.
