just a raw recording of the last song i've written. . .two or three years ago. . .hahah. . .never got a chance to finish this but melody-wise the foundation is already there. . .the lyrical concept is already there. . .some words in the song i only used to fill the melodies. . .haven't really finalised it. . .gotta sort coupla lines in first verse, the whole second verse, some words in the chorus and maybe the bridge. . .

As usual my good friend Andrew killing the guitars and the vocals (he hates singing) but he gets what i want so he doesn't have a choice. . .hahah. . .

Hearing this after a very long while makes me want to write a new one. . .hmmm

my first and last attempt at writing an OPM Pop Ballad song. . .this is just not me. . .i just tried coz i was curious how it would sound like. . .result? hmmmm well as you noticed its not really a ballad coz i decided to fire up the guitars in the second verse and so so. . .in a way i haven't really found out what a ballad song of my own creation would sound like lol hahaha

still got two songs in the same genre with better melodies and lyrics but i left these unfinished. . .really dunno if i'll continue with this kind of experiment lol

Would have love to redo this with a full band. . .put some roughness on it. . .i can still hear the drums for this song playing in my head right now. . .who knows maybe soon. . .

ONE JPIA

aahhh the oldest song i have here. . .i was still in high school when i wrote this. . .big fan of FOB back then and listening to lots of Hanson. . .ergo i decided to mash both styles up. . .the result hmmm i dunno lol hahah. . .

recorded this already in college (in only five hours). . .got a chance to work with really talented individuals in the form of Bagz in vocals and Kuya Nendz as my arranger. . .

Bagz now sings in a first class cruise ship and has shared stage with Robin Fucckkinn Thicke. . .he still taps me in the back everytime he sees me lurking in Ayala. . .

Kuya Nendz is one of the most respected arrangers here in Cebu. You talk to any arranger here chances are they know him. . .his an octopus in his keyboard like really literally an octopus. . .no formal music schooling but really owns maddening skills. . .
